‘Rise and Shine’ is a serial novel r about Beth and Vensin’s hunt across time and space for a maniacal genius stealing brilliant souls throughout human history..

Why does Beth feel the weight of the world on her shoulders? She’s a a dedicated student with plans to change the world with a space based energy network but her dreams may stand in the way of her mission. Each day she awakens in a place more dangerous than the last. Is her sleep walking going to jeopardize her humanitarian project or even her life? Early Morning Work and Writing

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

My schedule has always been haphazard. I sleep like a cat, meaning, essentially when I need to. Some nights I’m up till 6am. Some days I wake at 6am, it really seems to depend on what needs to get done. I’ve completed a round of site upgrades, plenty more to do, but at least I can now tell what’s going on with the traffic and posting to all of these channels is much simpler and easier. I’m a WordPress expert!

Tonight I caught up on The Fire in Fiction and learned some new techniques for creating tension. What I’m most excited about is this idea of ‘tornado events’, author Donald Maass’ reference to big events that affect the lives of all the characters. Rise and Shine involves a bit of time/reality hopping, and Beth is a regular instigator of these ‘tornado events.’ This book was a gift, and while I appreciated it, I did not expect it to be as useful as it is right now..
