Homeless Moms, Homeless Dads
Every time you see someone on the street, remember that they are someone’s son or daughter. Remember that you don’t know the circumstances of how they got in their situation. No matter how strong we think we are, or how secure we think our live are, the truth is that disaster can strike at any time and frequently it happens in our later years.
Who has really planned adequately for retirement in this day and age? Even the wildly wealthy are living beyond their means. Investments in real estate, employable skills seem to have vaporizing value. There isn’t a single sector of the economy that is doing well in the United States or practically any other country that I am aware of.
I started the post after reading an anxious, angry, confused blog post by a fellow blogger on a night when I have fewer answers than usual. What would you do if your mom was about to be homeless?
