Rise and Shine: Dawn of Recollection is already finished, but I’m waiting to release the episode until more of the series is finished. It’s a cliff hanger and the select few who have read it are demanding more. I’m also waffling a bit about one of the character’s names.
Those who have copies have rare editions because this character’s name is certain to change. It all has to do with his backstory, which is revealed over the next few episodes. I hope you enjoy the artwork, it’s a big clue that makes more sense down the line.
My schedule has always been haphazard. I sleep like a cat, meaning, essentially when I need to. Some nights I’m up till 6am. Some days I wake at 6am, it really seems to depend on what needs to get done. I’ve completed a round of site upgrades, plenty more to do, but at least I can now tell what’s going on with the traffic and posting to all of these channels is much simpler and easier. I’m a WordPress expert!
Tonight I caught up on The Fire in Fiction and learned some new techniques for creating tension. What I’m most excited about is this idea of ‘tornado events’, author Donald Maass’ reference to big events that affect the lives of all the characters. Rise and Shine involves a bit of time/reality hopping, and Beth is a regular instigator of these ‘tornado events.’ This book was a gift, and while I appreciated it, I did not expect it to be as useful as it is right now..
I’ve put this off for far too long but overwhelming support and encouragement has finally driven me to get serious about sharing my stories. For a variety of reasons I had to cloister myself away behind privacy controls and the the high walls of services like Facebook. The transparency with which I broadcasted my thoughts on MySpace frankly bit me in the ass, but after a time I have learned to live with the consequences. I will restrain my tongue no more! My fingers will type freely and in time I will return to regularly publishing YouTube videos again, but at the moment, I just don’t have the time. I’m working diligently to bring you something new…
More to come!
